Master Still & Cover Frame Guide

Extracting High-Resolution Reel & Story Cover Frames

When publishing a Reel, creators either pick an exact video still or upload a dedicated 1080x1920 graphic as their custom cover image. Taking a screenshot of your phone screen ruins image quality with status bars, compression noise, and interface overlays. instadnl extracts the master cover still directly from Instagram CDNs in full uncompressed JPEG quality.

1080x1920 Master Stills

Extracts the original vertical aspect ratio still chosen by the creator without phone screen clutter or app overlays.

Carousel Slide Export

Automatically scans all slides from multi-photo albums, allowing individual JPEG downloads or a consolidated 1-click .ZIP archive.

Zero Video Re-Encoding

No need to download 50MB video files just to grab a cover image. Saves time and mobile bandwidth instantly.

Tout ce que vous devez savoir sur le téléchargement de contenu Instagram.

Instagram allows up to 2,200 characters and up to 30 hashtags per post. instadnl provides a live character and tag counter with visual limit indicators.

Can I copy only the hashtags from a post?

Yes! Click "Copy All Hashtags" to copy just the tags, or click any individual hashtag chip to copy it separately.

Can I extract captions from private accounts?

No. instadnl only processes publicly accessible Instagram content. Captions from private profiles cannot be retrieved.
